Tigran Petrosyan

Born Tigran Petrosyan in Grozny, Chechen Republic, and till five he was raised there.  The family moved to Yerevan, Armenia in 1976. Following his graduation from Masis city Music School with honors diploma in piano, he got drafted to the Soviet Army and returned back to music already after the collapse of the USSR.

In 1995 he got enrolled to the Armenian National Song Theater and studied there till 1999 majoring in vocal. In 1998 he first made his name as a Singer of the Year within "Ayo" show.

At the same time Tigran established himself as a perfect studio engineer and started to record Armenian pop-stars. Shushan Petrosyan, Nune Yesayan (3 albums), Arsen Safaryan, Aramo & Emma are some of those Armenian pop singers who invited him as their sound producer and recording engineer.

Continuously improving his professional skills, he was always in demand as a strong music expert, and was regularly invited to participate in the Eurovision contests appearing as back-vocalist with major Armenian singers. In 2007 he appeared with Hayko in Finland, in 2008 he made appearance with Sirusho in Serbia, and in 2010 with Eva Rivas in Norway.
Nowadays he is represented by SonoRec Studio, Yerevan.  In 2005 he recorded his first studio album “Um” (Whom), considered as the Best Album of the Year at the Armenian National Music Awards ceremony in 2006.
